Malliw (“Male-lee”) is a Resort ‘21, luxury swim and ready to wear collection featuring looks that are versatile for beach, bar and “bleasure” (business/leisure). As a travel-focused brand, the collection fuses versatile pieces for the affluent Millennial woman with wearable pieces of art hand-woven by Lauhala artisans. Fabrics include hand-dyed hemp silk, regenerated nylon, and plaited hala leaves. The pieces made by artisans serve to celebrate and remind the consumer of the rich, embedded cultures that have long-existed in specific tourist destinations.
