Claire Johnson is from Kasilof, Alaska.

She is graduating with a BFA in Fashion Design and Product Development. She wants to continue to create sustainable, intentional designs that blend history with innovation. Her passion lies in exploring recycled textiles, traditional craftsmanship. Her goal is to build a career where creativity and sustainability go hand in hand. She wants to work with others who share her interests. Living in Columbia as a self-taught seamstress offering mending and alterations, she met Stephens students and heard about the Fashion Design program. Their passion inspired her to further her education, refine her skills, and push her creativity to new levels. Growth comes from taking risks, making mistakes, and learning along the way.
