Julia League is from Andover, KS.

She is graduating with a BFA in Fashion Design & Product Development. Someday, she plans on starting up a small sustainable clothing brand focused on creating high-quality demi-couture and upscale ready-to-wear garments. She chose to study fashion at Stephens because she admired its close knit and welcoming environment that prioritized the teaching of excellence in construction and technical skill, and its well-rounded understanding of style and the industry. She would tell her freshman self to enjoy what she’s accomplished more before critiquing it or moving on to the next project. Being critical is part of what helps her improve, but it’s never a bad idea to remind yourself of your achievements before deciding what you can do better next time.
